The Smart Energy Municipalities Project (SEMP) supports Albanian municipalities to implement the national energy policy. In scope of SEMP, on June 6^th 2023 Ecospeed provided the first training on the use of EnerCoach IT tool for energy data accounting to the Energy Efficiency Agency. Participants in the training were representatives from Municipality of Korca, Shkodra, Permet and Berat. EnerCoach tool is successfully used in Switzerland and Luxembourg for more than ten years. In the first phase, the tool will be adapted for the use in Albania focusing on public building and tested in SEMP municipalities. Collection of energy data for public buildings with EnerCoach will enable monitoring of consumption and savings and facilitate local energy planning for optimized heating and prioritization of rehabilitation projects.
